Ecstasy is called a designer drug because it is manufactured, not grown. It is illegal and addictive. Ecstasy is commonly found in nightclubs and usually comes in pill, tablet or capsule form, marked with trendy images.
Ecstasy used by itself causes rapidly accelerated heart rates, and taking Ecstasy with alcohol or other drugs is extremely dangerous and can be lethal. The Don’t Add Me campaign asks students not to fall prey to the false peace, love, unity and respect that many claim Ecstasy promises.
